When a company and the lead employees invests the time to provide their trainees with the critical thinking assessment skills based on the leader’s experience is a rare quality in today’s companies. My observation of Nate as a trainer and leader is that he took the time to explain every step, introduced troubleshooting not just one way but many ways for each aspect of the inspection and startup. BSE has been handling my very old home, my parents very old home, and my office for many years. their service is excellent, and there is nothing that they cannot fix. My experience with BSE on 3/11/25 was very good! Henry performed the service call and was very pleasant and answered all my questions regarding an issue with plumbing in the basement. I highly recommend this company and have used them for prior issues and have always been pleased!

I recently had plumbing work done by BSE Mechanical and couldn't be more impressed! They arrived on time, were courteous and very knowledgeable. I appreciated the professionalism and would highly recommend Diego & Michael to anyone in need of plumbing services.

BSE has done several jobs for me. HVAC and plumbing always a great job. My only issue was the price to install my toilet. EXTREMELY expensive. $645 excluding the toilet for a job that took less than two hours. Bit on the high side. All employees have always been very courteous and knowledgeable.

Oil fired furnace replacement. Soup to nuts great experience. The BSE’s quote was competitive, but I was sold on the estimators knowledge of what I needed without acting like I was asking for a space shuttle to be installed in my basement. No measuring tape, pad, calculator and verbal groans, just a 5 min look-see and a “you need this, expect a quote in an hour” , which I received. Three days after accepting the quote ( all on line/easy) the install team, Steve, Mike and Mark arrived on schedule. These guys marched in like a Navy seal team at 7am, nothing but work for 9 hrs, polite, professional and great teamwork. Steve and Mike hung around at the end to explain the furnace. They did their closing statements so well that I thought they would never leave. Just kidding, the point is, they were in no rush to get out of here, even after a hard 9.5 hr. Friday work day, all they cared about was my satisfaction. Great job!

BSE always takes amazing care of us. Our house is aging and when built used cheap materials so it seems like every few months a new plumbing issue pops up... But they always come, with a smile, and are incredibly thorough. They're always patient and give great suggestions to get ahead of issues. They've never steered us wrong and we now know most of them by name!

BSE was very responsive and the technician who came today was very professional. Henry diagnosed the issue with the shower quickly and explained my repair options clearly. He got my issue resolved and left things very clean when he was done. I strongly recommend BSE to all my friends!

The professional Diego was good as well the receptionist for phone answering and helped in rescheduling the service per my need. Professional Diego had a knowledge of his work and Courteous. . Our furnace died on the coldest night so far this winter, and BSE sent a guy (shoutout to Nathan Hatley!) the next morning, who painstakingly took me through the heating system mechanics to indicate what was wrong. Later that afternoon, BSE sent an estimator and they fixed it all up a day later. Very professional and highly competent is how I would characterize BSE. Excellent work!

Joe and Henry just left my house after determining the problem with my backed up drainage. Unfortunately the house waste was missing the required “clean-out”. Not a problem. The guys put their heads together and came up with a viable solution that allowed them to snake the house waste out to the septic tank. They then inserted a camera and discovered the real problem, which is a separated pipe at the beginning of the septic. Joe and Henry were extremely polite and professional. Joe explained everything, contacted his office and gave me a price on the spot. I expect to see them some time next week. While they may not be the cheapest Mechanical contractors out there, I feel confident that the work will be top notch for years of trouble free service. I have used BSE, since Brian first started, so many years ago! They have always been on time, and better yet they clean up after themselves!! Today I called them with an emergency! There was a pipe that bursted and the water from upstairs was literally pouring down to the kitchen and basement!! It was a mess, the water must have been pouring out for at least 2/3 days. They turned the water off and still stayed to help us chip the ice on the doors. They were great in helping with our situation ! I will continue to use them and recommend them!! BSE Mechanical saved our closing. We were in a pinch and even in their busiest time of the year, there were able to get to the property multiple times to address the issues we were having. I cannot recommend them any more highly. I won't use anyone else in this area again.

Diego did a GREAT job clearing my clogged sewer line several months ago, so when my furnace crapped out {on Christmas morning}, I didn't hesitate to put in an online service request with BSE. Even on a holiday, the response was immediate. During the repair, I noticed water on the floor in the adjacent room. It was nothing Cody did, but he knew what it was, what caused it, and how to fix it. There was an additional charge, but it was VERY reasonable for the work he did and the potential disaster he helped me avoid. I have others plumbing-related projects to do in the Spring and you KNOW I'll be using BSE.

Contacted BSE in the morning and where here in the afternoon as we had no heat. Nathan diagnosed the problem and the heat was back on. Courteous, professional, reliable, knowledgeable. Thank you for getting our heat back on and coming out within a few hours as the temperature was 8 degrees!

They are a phenomenal company!! I used them for my air conditioning unit. Originally, they came out and cleaned the mechanism outside completely. It was working for a little while. Then, it seemed to stop blowing cold air. I called back and talked to the manager and he was an extremely nice guy. He sent out a guy who spent a lot of his time inspecting both inside and outside units. He fixed the problem and it’s been running perfect, ever since. The boss did not make me pay a penny more for the additional work that was needed!! I highly recommend BSE!!

Everyone involved with this project was great. They kept everything organized and clean, they even put down tarps were they were going in and out of the house. The boiler and all the piping look great. I would highly recommend you guys!

We just had our furnace serviced with Shane and it was a great experience. He was the nicest person to work with and also extremely knowledgeable and helpful! We will be using BSE mechanical forever solely based off of this experience.

BSE Mechanical is a fabulous company. Their technicians are extremely knowledgeable and their customer service is terrific. We had a nasty backed up septic issue. We called BSE as they installed a new pump last year next to the sink that was overflowing. The service tech was here within a couple of hours. He found that there was nothing wrong with the pump. He could’ve just left it at that but instead went outside to check the septic drains. He actually found the clog and was able to clear it for us. That is service above and beyond. I highly recommend BSE Mechanical. They have done a great job at everything we have hired them to do for our home, all with a smile and a reasonable price.

Resolved a difficult problem with my boiler based heating system and installed improved control and maintenance equipment. The office and my tech were courteous, clear, helpful and timely. I have no hesitation in recommending BSE.

I had an emergency and I called the office at 4:20pm. Kayla was wonderful and within an hour Diego came figured out the problem and returned the next afternoon and finished the job! I am a repeat customer with an old house and lots of copper pipes. Every job has been done correctly.

5 Star. BSE installed a mini-split for us. It was a very positive experience from the get-go, starting with Karl, the HVAC Manager, who came to give us an estimate. This is a man who really knows his business. While other companies insisted we needed to run expensive heating/cooling/electrical piping across the house, down the roof, and back across the house (one company even wanted to run it through the gutters), Karl took one look and said, “The best thing to do here is install the compressor right outside where the inside unit will be, hanging from the side of the house, with extra support and sound dampening.” He then proceeded to give us a fair price (two of the other bids added a couple thousand dollars for all the unnecessary piping) and the work was scheduled about 3 weeks away. On the morning of the install, Karl showed up again to shepherd his crew of Steve and Cody. They did a great job of the installation, very neat and unobtrusive. Steve took the time to explain everything we need to know about operating and maintenance of the unit. Knowledgeable, communicative, professional, fair – this is a company that deserves the high marks they receive.

Starting with the estimate Mike came on time went over the entire job and available options for a new boiler install to replace my 31 year old boiler. The price was fair and I witnessed a boiler install they did five years Prior, so I knew they did nice work so I hired BSE Mechanical. The install, three men showed up with three trucks. Eric Cody and Joe showed up for the job. Joe was great laying out the new boiler design and going over my concerns with the job. Cody was busy piping out the boiler controls, valves and components While Eric was wiring up all the electrical components, this three-man team was a pleasure to watch work in harmony. A year after the installation of a new HVAC system, I felt that something was just not right. The house was hot, the system was running non stop and I blamed it on a heatwave. I felt like it just was not strong enough or big enough to work properly. I reached out to BSE and shared my frustration. They reached out, sent Lucas to look at things and he found the issue/repaired the issue immediately. My HVAC was pulling hot air from my attic since the install - just a missed hose connection. A year later these guys still called me back, sent a tech to check out the situation, fixed it and left with a handshake - no bill. We had an emergency today with our water heater. I called and left a message and got a call back within 15 minutes. I explained what was happening and they had our usual service guy, he’s wonderful, here within 30 minutes. He cleaned up the water and everything was resolved. Our entire family has been using BSE for decades and will continue to use them.

Joe was professional, friendly, very thorough. After a two day battle with my kitchen sink drain, I can now use my sink. Thank you! I use BSE Mechanical for all of my plumbing/water needs. They do not disappoint. If you need a new installation or have a tough plumbing issue, they are the ones you should hire!!

The tech Lukas was exceptional as he showed everything to me as I explained to him the issue I had with the unit not cooling as it drained once again with another freon. There's a leak somewhere in the system but couldn't diagnose it where it was. One thing I didn't like was that the lady who I spoke with over the phone to schedule the appointment failed to mention about the trip fee/diagnosis up front. Hopefully the dye that Lukas inserted into my system fixes the issue as its not a guarantee it will do it. I understand that my warranty doesn't cover diagnosis, freon and etc. It covers only labor for the coil and evaporator and parts which is only 1.5 years left of the warranty. Next time, please disclosure upfront the trip charge over the phone as this is only my beef with the BSE mechanical..Full disclosure is the key to any transaction

Once again, BSE Mechanical exceeded expectations. This time it was for central air installation and baseboard replacement. Miguel and his crew were excellent. This was a significant project inside and outside of the house and they were all very considerate. Miguel also took the time to make sure all of our questions were answered. They performed expert and high quality installations, and impeccable cleanup (They actually prevented any mess from happening in the first place from cutting into the ceilings. Very impressive.) Best price out of all other quotes. We WILL be calling on BSE for any future needs. Keep up the good work!

Jan 2023 UPDATE: Another awesome service appt was completed by BSE for my AC unit that I had BSE install about 6 months ago. The repair was to add a common wire to my existing Nest thermostat that I had installed many years ago. Lukas from BSE who completed the work was very professional, courteous and I would highly recommend him and BSE for any heating and AC repair work. My Original Review: I had my Central A/C system completely replaced by BSE. They were price competitive (but not the lowest price out of the 4 bids I received). More importantly was their excellent customer service during the entire process. They communicated clearly on what was required, what they included in their proposal, and when the install would take place. They were on time and finished everything in (1) day. Because the new air handler in the attic was larger than the original that was installed +20 years ago, they had a tough time of getting it into place, but as more installers arrived quickly to help, they got it done. They cleaned up the site perfectly after they were done, so I highly recommend BSE for any A/C system new or replacement.

Outstanding in every way.

I recently used BSE for some work on my radiant heat and a boiler repair. They were top notch - honest, timely, and professional. Being new to a radiant heat system, Brian (who came out to do my estimate) and Steve and Andrew (who performed the work) were all more than willing to take the time to answer any questions I had. I’ll definitely be using them again in the future for any plumbing or heating needs that I have!

I have used BSE for a number of years since they came to the area. They installed my ductless AC, Generator, as well as performed many repairs throughout the years. Their staff has qualities unheard of these days. Professional, polite, honest, knowledgeable and on time. As a company I find them dedicated to accommodate their customer. As far as pricing goes, you get what you pay for with this company. I recommend them to friends and clients. And if you have a well be sure to use their well and water treatment division. Also outstanding!

BSE Mechanical did a fabulous job of installing a pump for a sink in a tricky area. We now have a wonderful sink that works beautifully. BSE is efficient and professional. I highly recommend them.

The tech Henry was fantastic, was meticulous with his work and extremely knowledgeable. He was also a very pleasant to deal with and explained everything.
